BeverlyMHS Proudly Supported Standford CHIPAO:
A team of psychiatrists from Stanford Chipao, supported by Beverly Mental Health Services, recently hosted a parenting workshop focused on supporting parents of teenagers.
The event addressed many of the common challenges faced by families with children and adolescents, particularly within Asian American communities. The workshop was designed to help parents develop practical and effective parenting skills for everyday family life.
According to the facilitators, participants learned through a combination of short talks, role-play, and live feedback sessions. They noted that these interactive activities gave parents a chance to explore communication barriers and practice constructive approaches to family dynamics.
Both the Stanford team and Beverly Mental Health Services described the workshop as a valuable opportunity to empower parents and promote stronger, more positive relationships at home.
